6 (Six) Project Assistants L-II on purely temporary basis to work in different R&D Projects in various areas of the biological sciences, such as Protein Science & Engineering, Infectious Diseases & Immunity, Microbial Physiology & Genetics, Biotransformations & Microbiology.
One Project Assistant (Level-II)
Project 'Microbial-Based Technologies for Developing Novel Skin Care Products'
Essential Qualification:- Ist Class M.Sc. in any area of Modern Biology/Life Sciences/Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Biophysics/Microbiology / Molecular Biology/Botany/ Zoology.
Stipend:- Rs.10,000/- p.m ( fixed).
Duration of Project:- Six months
Note for Project No.1:- Candidates with Ist Class M.Sc. in above subjects, having two years of relevant research experience may be placed in Level-III @ Rs.12,000/- p.m. (fixed) & with Ph.D. qualification at Level-IV @ Rs.15,000/- (fixed)
5 Project Assistants (Level-II)
for different R& D Projects.
Essential Qualification:- Ist Class M.Sc. in any area of Modern Biology/ Life Sciences / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/Biophysics/Microbiology / Molecular Biology / or Ist Class B. Tech. in Biotechnology.
Stipend:- Rs.8,000/- p.m /Rs. 9,000/- p.m (fixed) for DBT/DST Project
Rs.10,000/- p.m (fixed) for CSIR Networked Project
Rs.12,000/- p.m (fixed) for NMITLI Project
Desirable:- Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.
Age Limit as on 19.09.2008 (on the date of walk-in-interview) :- Not exceeding 28 years (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped as per GOI rules).
Such of the candidates who fulfills the eligibility conditions may please walk in for interview on 19.09.2008 (Monday) at 09.30 A.M in the Seminar Hall of this Institute along with complete bio-data & original certificates together with latest passport size photograph and also enclosing photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications etc.
