Scientific Officer: Proteomics – One (1) Post
The incumbent shall be required to manage and operate a new state-of-the-art mass spectrometry facility for proteomics applications. Scientists at Ph D level with a minimum of 3–5 years proven track record in mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomic sample preparation, data acquisition and analysis, are invited
to apply.
The selected candidate is expected to assume a senior role in managing the common MS facility responsibility for proteomic services, with emphasis on shotgun proteomics. Your responsibility will be to advise and assist users to complete the MS-based proteomic pipeline from front end sample preparation to post-acquisition large scale MS dataset analysis.
Further R&D on the various technical fronts in tune with latest developments in the field is encouraged but not obligatory for subsequent renewal or appointment, which will be based primarily on satisfactory service record and positive feedbacks from users.
