IIT Kanpur invites applications for a total of 80 faculty positions of Lecturers, Assistant Professors and Associate Professors in various Departments.
The selected candidates may opt to participate in the academic activities of the interdisciplinary programmes (IDPs).

Electrical Engineering
Industrial and Management Engineering
Materials and Metallurgical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Chemistry
Mathematics and Statistics
Physics
Humanities and Social Sciences.
IDPs-Design, Environmental Engineering and Management, Laser Technology,
Materials Science, Nuclear Engineering and Technology.
The appointments in IDPs will be made through the relevant Departments.
Eligibility for Faculty Positions
The applicants are expected to have an excellent academic record with Doctoral Degree along with experience in research / development.
Reservations at entry level will be applicable as per G.O.I. norms.
