Following research positions are available in Department of Biotechnology, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar:

SRF Position (1 post)

Project“Development of an In silico model for HIV integrase ……..molecules”

Salary Rs. 12000/ month (consolidated; no HRA).

Essential Qualification

First class marks/grades in aggregates in M.Sc. Bioinformatics, Chemoinformatics or MS (Pharm.) in Pharmacoinformatics

Age limit: 28 years (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PH; 3 years for OBC).

The duration of all the posts is subject to renewal of the project every year for up to the tenure of the project and also subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent. Appointment is for the project and on behalf of the funding agency (where ever applicable) and the tenure shall be co-terminus with the duration of the project. Both the positions may be terminated any time by giving one-month notice by either side. The SRF will not have any claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any post of DBT, New Delhi or NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar.

Eligible applicants are invited for a walk-in-interview on 10 December 2008 from 10 am till 12 pm in the Conference Room, Secretariat Block, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar along with their application (addressed to the Director, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar) on plain paper, CV, testimonials in original (the degree or the final mark sheet should available on the day of interview) and their attested copies, other relevant details and application fee of Rs. 50/- (Rs. 25/- for SC/ST) in the form of DD (Drawn in favor of Director, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar). Each applicant should indicate name and the position applied for. No TA/DA shall be paid to attend the interview.
