IIAR invites applications for faculty position, at Assistant Professor level from candidates with PhD in Bioinformatics, Post-Doctoral experience of 2 years, with minimum five publications in peer reviewed journals.
It’s desirable that the candidate is skilled in software / database development and computational resources optimization.
The candidate will become part of a vibrant group having support from DBT as distributed information sub-centre (DISC) and access to high compute resources for doing research work. The candidate will also undertake some teaching activity for post graduate students.
Bioscience / Computer background candidates with PhD degree and Post-Doctoral experience with extensive skills in bioinformatics as evident through publications will also be considered.
Fresh PhD can be considered for RA / Teaching Assistant position.
