Project Title: Screening of diverse dehalogenase enzymes from soil metagenome for the biomediation of toxic chlorinated solvents.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology, 1^st division throughout.

Job requirement: To carry out research and development work in the field of Microbial/ environmental genomics. Experienced candidates in PCR, cloning and microbial culture work will be preferred.

5. Project No. NWP- 45 (1 Position)

Project Title: Preparations of organo chlorine pesticide solutions as certified reference material under advancement in metrology.

M.Sc. with 60% in Chemistry/Biotechnology. Having some experience in analytical Chemistry lab.

6. Project No. NWP-0019 (1 position)

Project Title: Detection and gene expression studies using DNA mircoarry technology for bioremediation of hazardous chemicals.

1^st Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology.

Job Requirement: To carry research and development work in the field of microbial genes and DNA microarray technology.

9. Project No. GAP-210 (1 position)

Project Title: Study of stage Specific Gene Methylation for the Assessment and control of Tumor Development

1^st Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology, Life science, Biochemistry

Job Requirement: Knowledge/experience in working with DNA /RNA /Protein electrophoresis PCR Immunohistochemistry, Epigenetics, Gene expression,Gene silencing etc.

10. Project No. GAP-213 (1 position)

Project Title: Lindane induced gene expression profiles in brain and blood lymphocytes as biomarkers of exposure and effect.

1^st Class M.Sc/M.Tech (Biotech)

Job Requirement: To carry out PCR amplification & blotting studies to identify biomarkers predict neurotoxicity in animals exposed to lindane .

Interested candidates for Level II post must register through On-line up to 5.00.p.m. of 10.6.2009 and for Level III up to 5.00 p.m. of 15.6.2009.
