DBT funded project “Virtual Centre of Excellence on Multidisciplinary approaches aimed at interventions against Mycobacterium tuberculosis” Project code”BT/01/COE/07/02”, Module C3

Research Associate – Animal Tissue Culture (One – for Module C3 “Identification of new therapeutic targets and immune activation markers in M. tb co-infections using comparative proteomics” - post tenable at Department of Biochemistry, University of Hyderabad)

Pay: Rs. 16000 + 30% HRA (Fixed) per month

Responsibilities:

• Performing scientific research services related to animal tissue culture
• Liaison with tuberculosis hospitals and clinical collaborators in respect of patient sample collection and implementation of studies at lab level
• Providing scientific support to scientists and students in their research areas
• Carrying out storage and maintenance of primary and stable cell lines

Essential Qualifications:

PhD or MSc / M. Tech with three years research experience with specialization in Health Sciences or Biotechnology from a recognized university / institute.

Candidate must have more than one year lab research experience in a reputed institution relating to animal tissue culture and should be highly motivated and have good computer and communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
