Research Fellowship Positions
MGDC was established recently, with fund from Doerenkamp – Zbinden Foundation, Switzerland. In order to assist the Director and Chair in the activities of the Center, 3 Research Fellowship positions have been created, at a monthly fellowship of Rs 12,000, for 3 years.
The scholars will be permitted to register for Ph.D. The areas of activity/research and the qualification requirements shall be as follows:
1. Dissection alternatives: M.Sc. (Computer Science), MCA, M.Sc. Zoology with PGDCA (with expertise/experience in animation and flash).
2. In vitro alternatives: PG degree in any branch of Life Sciences /Biomedical Science/Veterinary Science, with expertise in animal cell culture and in vitro toxicology.
3. In silico alternatives: PG degree in any branch of Life Sciences /Biomedical Science/ Veterinary Science, with experience/expertise in Bioinformatics tools, with special reference to in vitro toxicology/pharmacology.
Candidates should have scored 60% marks or equivalent grade in qualifying degree examination.
Preference will be given to NET/SLET qualified candidates, and/or those with previous experience.
