Minimum Qualifications
1. Assistant Professor:
1.1. Master’s Degree with 55% marks in appropriate branch of Engineering /
Technology.

Preference will be given to Ist Class Master’s and / or Bachelor’s degree in
appropriate branches of Engineering / Technology. Ph.Ds in appropriate branch

1.2 Ph.D. degree with 55% marks at Master’s level in Bioinformatics /

2. Associate Professor:
2.1.A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the
Bioinformatics, and experience of 5 years in teaching, research and / or industry
at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining
the research degree. OR

i. Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics or the
concerned / allied/relevant disciplines (Engineering / Technology/ Computer
Science/ Information Technology / Science/ Mathematics / Agriculture/ Medical
Science/ Life Sciences) with appropriate backgound in areas of Bioinformatics or
Mathematical and Computational Biology.
i. Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics or the
concerned / allied/relevant disciplines (Engineering / Technology/ Computer
Science/ Information Technology / Science/ Mathematics / Agriculture/ Medical
Science/ Life Sciences) with appropriate backgound in areas of Bioinformatics or
Mathematical and Computational Biology.
