Qualification
ESSENTIAL A Doctorate degree in Zoology/Botany/ Entomology/ Agriculture/Agronomy/Chemistry/Sericulture from a recognized University with a minimum of 10 years Research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Scientist-B (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay of Rs.5400/-) or equivalent
DESIRABLE: Specialisation or research experience in the Field of Molecular Biology / Bio-Technology / Entomology /Insect Breeding.

ESSENTIAL: High II Class Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in Zoology/Botany/ Entomology/Agriculture/Agronomy/Chemistry/ Sericulture from a recognized University with 5 years Research experience as evidenced by Research Publications in reputed journals.
DESIRABLE: Specialization or research experience in the field of Molecular Biology/Bio-Technology, Soil Science & Soil Chemistry, Insect Pathology / Virology, Crop Physiology / Plant Physiology, Insect Breeding, Biochemistry, Insect Physiology, Environmental Sciences / Ecology, Applied Animal Genetics
