Qualified candidates are invited to attend the walk-in-interview at the Directorate of Groundnut Research (formerly: National Research Centre for Groundnut), Junagadh, Gujarat for the following posts on co terminus basis or for an extended period as decided by the competent authority.
1 . Name of the Scheme: ICAR Network Project on Transgenic Crops
2. Duration : Till 31 March 2012
3. Name of the post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
4. Number of posts : Two
5. Educational Qualification:
• Essential : Masters degree in any branch of plant science /biotechnology
• Desirable : Specialization or working experience in Plant Tissue Culture /molecular biology
6. Emoluments: Rs. 12000 P.M. + HRA for first 2 years and Rs. 14000 P.M. + HRA for the 3 rd year
7. Age limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women (Relaxation to SC/ST, OBC and other exempted categories of candidates as per Govt. Norms)
1. Name of the Scheme: Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/ commercialization of Agricultural Technology Scheme (Up-scaling of existing component i.e. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) under ICAR Headquarters Scheme on Management and information Services)
2. Duration : Till 31 March 2012
3. Name of the post: Research Associate (RA)
4. Number of posts : One
5. Educational Qualification:
• Essential : Masters degree in any branch of plant science /biotechnology with first division or 60% marks or equivalent OGP , and 2 years research experience
• Desirable : Specialization or working experience in Intellectual Property Rights / Patenting applications; fluency in computer applications like word processing; worksheets, data bases etc.
6. Emoluments: Rs . 17000 P.M. + HRA
7. Age limit: 40 years for men and 45 years for women (Relaxation to SC/ST, OBC and other exempted categories of candidates as per Govt. Norms)
General Conditions:
• The period and duration of the scheme is tentative and the same may change.
• The above positions are purely temporary and co terminates with the project/ scheme or for an extended period as decided by the competent authority.
• Candidates must produce the originals of all relevant documents with at least one photocopy of each for verification, curriculum vitae , and a recent passport size photograph
• No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview
