Applications are invited for two Studentship and two Traineeship for undertaking advanced research training in bioinformatics.

Applicants who have completed their Post Graduate degree in Bioinformatics or any other Life Science branch are eligible for traineeship and students perusing the above mentioned degree are eligible for studentship in Bioinformatics.

A monthly stipend of 5000/‐ shall be awarded to both the candidates of traineeship and studentship and duration of the training will be for 6 months.

The students, who are experienced in computational bioinformatics tools and database development, shall have an added advantage.

Application in plain paper stating name, address, date of birth, qualifications, institute along with attested photocopies of marksheets and certificates should be submitted to the Coordinator, BIF Centre, Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics, University of Kalyani, Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal, PIN‐741235 on or before 15th December, 2009.
