Job Description
This position is responsible for the promotion and sales of all Research Biotechnology (RB) products in an assigned territory.
Ø Co-ordinate with Sales & Marketing to identify and promote RB products both directly and through dealer network.
Ø Carry out customer on site seminars, wet workshops, troubleshooting and provide technical support to RB customers.
Ø Influence the sales team members to drive and grow the RB business.
Ø Develop personal rapport with all key RB customers in the territory.
Ø Gather Market intelligence and receive feedback regularly from customers.
Ø Participate & Develop strategies both short term and long term to meet RB budget in the territory and country.
Ø Train the sales team in both transactional and consultative product offerings in RB.
Ø Carry out marketing campaigns, road shows and create image and positioning exercise for RB products.
Ø Coordinate with RB BU Manager, Regional Managers & Area Managers in the territory to plan visit to all key accounts at predetermined frequency.
Ø Assist RB BU Manager & Marketing Manager with development of marketing collaterals for the territory, region and country.
Ø Identify and propose innovative products, technologies or services that can be brought on board through licensing, partnership or buy buying and listing in catalogue.
Ø Identify and intimate regularly management about possible acquisition candidates, which synergetic in nature for Research Speciality business.
Desired Candidate Profile
PhD in Life Science
At least 2-5 years of experience in Laboratory/Technical Selling/ Research or teaching in Life science company or Institute
Knowledge in the field of Cell signalling, Genomics / Molecular Biology and Protein expression and proteomics is must.
