Job Description

* CTE seeks a sharp, diligent, and energetic mind to help with the gathering, processing, and analysis of data on human health and genetic variation seeks an exceptional, scientifically literate writer to help convey detailed insights about human health and genetic variation to English-speaking consumers.
* The writer will work closely with local and overseas-based colleagues to build a comprehensive body of web and print content that documents and explains cutting-edge knowledge of the genetic underpinnings of human disease.

Desired Candidate Profile

a. Applicant should have a strong grasp of fundamental concepts and terminology in genomics and medicine
b. Should have a proven ability to artfully translate complicated jargon and ideas into simple, everyday English (international standard style)
c. Fast, meticulous scientific writing and comprehension skills
d. Fluency in the use of PubMed, and an avid, critically minded interest in new discoveries in genetic medicine, are essential

f. Previous experience in scientific writing (academic, corporate, or journalistic) or web design/content creation, are ideal.
