Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the post of Research Scientist and Research Associate by the human resources team of Abgenics.

Research Scientist

Qualification: M.Sc candidates with 2-3 years of wet and hot lab experience in gene cloning and expression are highly desirable.

PhDs in molecular biology are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilites: Will be responsible for undertaking and executing research projects pertaining to cloning and expression of genes in bacterial and yeast systems. The candidate will also be expected to work in an interdisciplinary group and develop various screening bioassays. Will have to perform under specific and challenging time line plans.

Research Associate

Qualification: M.Sc with a 6 months to 1 year of lab experience is desirable. Fresh MSc candidates can also apply.

Responsibilities: Will work closely with the research scientists and will be responsible for the wet lab activities of cloning and expression of genes in bacterial and yeast systems.

Desirable: The candidates should be highly conversant with various techniques of molecular biology in the areas of gene cloning and expression, including hands on operational skills on various basic analytical and precision equipments of a molecular and cell biology lab. Should have a good working knowledge of MS office particularly power point and Excel.
