Applications are invited for two Studentships and two traineeships eligible candidates for Studentship/Traineeship under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India sponsored Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati.
The engagements will be purely temporary for a period of 6 months and are terminable at any time without prior notice or without assigning any reason thereof.
The persons engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for permanent absorption in the University.
1. Remuneration : Rs. 5,000/- per month (consolidated)
2. Qualifications :
(a). Studentship (to carry out project work): Students perusing postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology in a reputed institution of the country.
(b). Traineeship: Candidates with a Postgraduate Degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or any discipline of Life Science.

Preference will be given to fresh postgraduates with experience in Bioinformatics tools handling of Bioinformatics software/database development/related field.
Interested candidates are requested to attend the walk-in- interview on 11th February, 2010 at 11.00 am at Bioinformatics infrastructure Facility, Department of Biotechnology, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati 444602. They are requested to bring application in plain paper along with bio-data and attested copies of mark sheets and certificates along with originals at the time of interview. Candidates have to attend the interview at their own cost.
