Admission in Post-M.Sc.–Ph.D. Programme 2010
Applications are invited from candidates having qualified INSPIRE-SHE/CSIR-UGC-NET for the positions of Junior Research Fellows.
1. Qualification: As per the criterion for eligibility under ‘Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)’ by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India; and CSIR/UGC-NET Examination.
2. Interview: The candidates will be called for an interview.
3. Desired field of study: Both theoretical and experimental research are carried out at the Centre which has four departments: Theoretical Science; Material Science; Astrophysics and Cosmology; and Chemical, Biological and Macromolecular Sciences.
4. Residential programme: The PM.Sc.–Ph.D. Research is a residential programme all through and the Centre will provide hostel and other infrastructural facilities.
5. Monthly stipend: JRF – Rs 12,000; SRF – Rs 14,000 and other benefits based on satisfactory performance as per existing DST rules.
6. The Centre does not charge any Tution Fee.
