Advertisement for the Post of Project Fellow
Applications are invited on plain paper from Indian Nationals along with detailed CV for one post of
Project Fellow in project entitled “Development of Climate-Resilient Bacterial Bioformulation for
Sustainable Nematode Management”, funded by the Haryana State Higher Education Council
(HSHEC) purely on a temporary basis. The details of the post are as follows:
Name of the post: Project Fellow
Tenure of the post: Appointment will be purely on temporary basis for a period of two years or co-terminus
with the project subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate which will be reviewed every six months.
Salary: Rs 25,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate (M.Sc.) in Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/Agriculture
Microbiology/Microbial Biotechnology with First Division.
Job description: Preparation of medium, washing of glassware, sterilization of material, isolation and
maintenance of microorganisms and other microbiological work assigned by PI. The candidate may have to
travel in the state multiple times to collect the samples. The candidate may have to devote time in lab beyond
office hours to complete the task as and when required.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of working with Agriculturally important microorganisms and their
applications.
