Short Term Training Programme on Chromatography Techniques

March 15-20, 2010

Programme

There will be lectures on following topics during the training programme:

1. Introduction to chromatography
2. Adsorption chromatography
3. Paper chromatography
4. Thin layer chromatography
5. High performance liquid chromatography
6. Gas liquid chromatography

Besides one lecture each day, there will be practical on following topics:

1. Preparation of glasswares, chemical and reagent solutions used for paper chromatography.
2. Development of chromatogram
3. Qualitative and quantitative determination of compounds.
4. Preparation of columns and separation of compounds
5. Demonstration on HPLC

Training course fee: Rs. 2000/-.
