Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India Project “Chemical and Pharmacological investigation of Indian Marine poisonous fishes” under the guidance of Prof. Jharna Ray, S. N. Pradhan Centre for Neurosciences, CU. Project involves extensive field work and handling poisonous fishes.

Qualifications:
(i) JRF - M. Sc. in any stream of Biological Sciences and preferably NET/GATE Qualified;
(ii) SRF - M. Sc. in any stream of Biological Sciences with 2-3 years of research experience and documented by publications;
(iii) PhD in Life Sciences supported with publications
Fellowship: Rs.12,000 per month for JRF, Rs. 14,000 per month for SRF and Rs. 16,000 per month for RA + admissible allowances as per sanction of the funding agency and also as per University rules.
Tenure: Duration of the project is upto March 2012.
