Biomedical Informatics Centre, NIRRH in association with Schrodinger Inc, USA. is organizing a 3-day workshop (April 20th – 22nd, 2010) on “Structure and Ligand based drug design”
The workshop focuses on providing training on some of the recent advances made in the field of computational drug design. The mode of training would be through lectures followed by hands-on sessions. This workshop will be useful for researchers who are involved in computer-aided drug design work.
Eligibility criteria for applicants include postgraduate degree in life sciences along with a regular position in any of the government funded institutes.

The last date for receipt of applications is April 15, 2010. A maximum of 25 candidates will be selected. The selected candidates will be intimated by email on April 16, 2010. The selected candidates should bring a proof of identity (photo ID) and recommendation letter of the Head of the institution for the workshop.
The workshop is being fully supported by Indian Council of Medical Research.There is no course fee. The selected candidates will, however, have to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.
