Faculty Positions on Contract/Deputation Basis 

The University intends to fill up faculty positions primarily to undertake the teaching in the Masters Degree programmes in various disciplines, namely, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Mathematics, and Statistics, commencing July, 2010.

Guest Faculty Positions

- Visiting/Associate Faculty
- Adjunct Faculty/Scholar-in-Residence

The candidates willing to undertake teaching assignment in various disciplines, namely, Bio-Technology, Computer, Development Studies, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics at the University as Guest Faculty viz. Visiting/Associate Faculty as well as Adjunct Faculty/Scholar-in-Residence may also apply in the prescribed Application Format.

The appointment of Adjunct Faculty/ Scholar-in Residence shall be made as per the guidelines of the ENCORE Scheme of the UGC. The candidates willing to apply for these positions are advised to carefully go through the ENCORE Scheme available on the university website.

Application Fee - A crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- for candidates under ‘General’ and 'OBC' category, or Rs.100/- for candidates under ‘SC/ST/PWD’ category ( whether the post is reserved for these categories or not ), drawn in favour of “ Central University of Bihar”, payable at Patna (Bihar), India, should be sent with the application towards registration fee (not refundable). Separate application along with separate Demand Draft must be submitted if a candidate wants to apply for more than one post.

How to Apply : Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed application form, which may be downloaded after filling summary information on-line from the website of the University. The completed application should reach OSD, Central University of Bihar, Camp Office: BIT Campus-Patna P.O. - B.V. College, Patna - 80 00 14 (Bihar), India,  on or before 10th June 2010
