In continuation of the previous notification dated.10-6-2009, RGUKT invites applications for the post of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in various disciplines at its three campuses viz. Basar, Nuzvid, R.K.Valley under group-I,II & III, in the prescribed form.
The Format of the application is available on www.rgukt.in The application should be submitted through online and a hard copy of it should be sent with a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- and in case of SCs & STs Rs.300/- (drawn in favor of Registrar, RGUKT payable at Hyderabad) along with relevant copies of certificates on the address of the Registrar, RGUKT, 3rd floor APSCHE building, Masab tank, Hyderabad, 500028, by post or in person on or before 7-7-2010 before 5.00 P.M. The details of the Pay scales, prescribed qualifications and other eligibility conditions are available on the website of RGUKT.
Those who had applied already in response to our previous notification need not apply again but they have to update their biodata.

Biology
Professors - 1
Associate Professors - 1 - OC-(W)
and Assistant Professors - 2 - OC-1(W), SC-1(W)
Qualification & experience/Scale of pay
Assistant Professor PhD with a first class at the PG level in the relevant subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch and good track academic record. A minimum of three years’ industrial/research/teaching experience. (excluding experience gained while pursuing Ph.D).
Rs:15,600- 39,000 With AGP of Rs.8,000/- p.m (PB-3). Minimum pay to be fixed is at Rs.30,000/-
Associate Professors
PhD with a first class at the PG level in the relevant subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch and good track academic record. A minimum of six years’ industrial/research/teaching experience, of which at least three years’ should be at level of Associate Professor, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with AGP of RS.9,500/- p.m (PB-4). Minimum pay to be fixed is at Rs. 42,800/-
Professor
PhD with a first class at the PG level in the relevant subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch and good track academic record. A minimum of ten years’ of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Professors in reputed Institutions/Universities.
Rs. 37,400-6,700 with AGP of Rs.10,500/- p.m. Minimum pay to be fixed is at Rs.48,000/-
Categories of Appointment: Two categories of appointments may be there.
1. Contract appointments: These are open to all suitable candidates including motivated retired faculty members of NIITs, IITs, IISc and other universities of repute from India and abroad. The period of contract shall be three years and renewable after expiry.
2. On deputation: These are open to all suitable candidates including motivated retired faculty members of NIITs, IITs, IISc and other universities of repute from India and abroad.

- The selection committee at its description may relax the minimum requirements in case of the outstanding candidates for each of the above three faculty positions.
