Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Project: Biophysical and Biochemical Studies of the Mitochondrial Outer Membrane Proteins VDAC-2 and Om14.
Qualification & Experience: First class M.Sc. degree in any discipline of Life Science or Organic Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute.
Preference will be given to those who have cleared NET(CSIR/UGC)/NET(LS)/ICMR. Only applicants with at least 4 months experience in handling bacterial cultures and/or protein expression and purification, need apply. An aptitude for learning new techniques is a must. Age Limit: Applicant should not have completed 28 years of age at the time of application.
Salary: Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (consolidated) + HRA (as applicable).
Duration: One year (Extendable to up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance).
