Objectives

To facilitate a forum to assess and review the present status of use of bioinformatics in horticulture research. To identify avenues for bioinformatics initiatives in horticulture sector and to prioritize the research areas. To familiarize the participants with various Bioinformatics tools and techniques relevant to agriculture research.

Technical Sessions

The Meet will have four technical sessions viz.

1. Bioinformatics – An Overview

2. Genomics & Proteomics

3. Cheminformatics

4. Biodiversity Informatics.
