Junior Research Fellow -2 Posts (one for each project)
Walk-in-Interview will be held on 20th August 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Seminar Room of Plant Biology Division at Centenary Building of Bose Institute, P – 1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kolkata- 700 054 for Junior Research Fellow in the following two sponsored projects.
Details of the projects and position, qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows:
A. CSIR sponsored project entitled “Investigating the role ARID / HMG – a novel high mobility group protein in modulation of chromatin structure in plants” under Dr. Shubho Chaudhuri, Division of Plant Biology (Centenary Building)
B. DBT sponsored project entitled “Regulation of microRNA transcription and biogenesis by fungal-stress in tomato” under Dr. Pallob Kundu, Division of Plant Biology (Centenary Building)
Essential Qualification : M. Sc. degree in any branch of Life Science with NET/GATE qualification.
Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit
Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Eligible and interested candidates are requested to appear in person directly before the Selection Committee with a typed application mentioning the project title addressed to the Registrar, Bose Institute, P – 1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kolkata- 700 054 along with bio-data, attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets and Testimonials.
The candidates should also bring the original mark-sheets, certificates etc. at the time of interview.
