DBT Sponsored Junior Research Fellow in Chemical Biology of siRNA:

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

DBT funded research project on “Dual Conjugation of Cationic Lipid and Cell Penetrating Peptide to dsRNA Oligonucleotides for in Vivo siRNA Delivery

Rs. 15,600/- (Fixed) per month inclusive of all for the first two years and Rs. 18,200/- (Fixed) per month inclusive of all for the third year.

Duration: Three years

Responsibilities: Chemical and biological synthesis of modified siRNA and general maintenance of RNA synthesizer.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemical sciences /Life sciences from a recognized university / institute. Should be willing to learn and able to work at the chemistry/biology interface.

Candidates with synthetic chemistry background having aptitude to learn siRNA biology or Candidates with biochemistry back ground with exposure to synthetic chemistry are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience: 0-2 years

Preferable: Relevant research experience in the above mentioned areas
