SRF (One):
Emoluments Fixed per month Rs. 12,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualifications First class MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related subjects
Desirable Qualifications Research experience in gene cloning and genetic transformation of crops
Project Title Fusarium wilt resistance and drought tolerance in chickpea funded by ICAR-NPTC - Functional Genomics

RA (One):
Emoluments Fixed per month Rs 17,000 + HRA
Rs. 18,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualifications First class M.Sc. with 2 years experience OR Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related subjects
Desirable Qualifications Research experience in gene cloning and plant transformation
Knowledge of Computational Biology
Project Title Evaluating candidate genes towards enhancement of drought tolerance in chickpea funded by National Fund for Basic and Strategic Research in Agriculture

SRF (One)
Emoluments Fixed per month Rs. 12,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualifications First class MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related subjects
Desirable Qualifications Research experience in gene cloning and plant transformation
Knowledge of Computational Biology
Age Limit: 35 years max. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per ICAR rules)

The post is purely temporary in nature and is co-terminus with the project. The initial offer is for a period of one year only. The interview will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 10.00 A.M. at NRCPB, Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre, IARI, New Delhi – 110012.

The candidates must bring five copies of bio-data in prescribed format, original  certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.

No TA/DA would be given for attending the interview. Only the candidates with essential qualifications would be entertained for the interviews.
