Field Biologist
Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear in an interview on 17th August, 2010 at 3.00 P.M. in the office of the Secretary UCSTA, C.U. 35 B.C. Road, Kolkata-700 019 to work as Four Field Biologists and Two Field Assistants in the project entitled "Study on carbon sequestration by phytoplankton community in the mangrove dominated Indian Sundarbans” funded by the Directorate of Forest, Govt. of West Bengal under the Guidance of Dr. Abhijit Mitra Dept. of Marine Science, C.U. Duration of the project 2 Years (initially)
Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Marine Science/any branch of Life Science with minimum 55% marks and having sufficient experience in working in Sundarbans preferably in the field of phytoplankton diversity, carbon sequestration, water quality etc.
Remuneration: Rs. 8000/- p.m. for field Bio data (consolidated)
Interested Candidates are requested to bring (i) two sets of application furnishing bio –data on plain paper with attested copies of all testimonials and (ii) all originals at the time of interview.
No TA / DA is permissible for appearing in the interview.
