Position: Project Assistant (1 Post )

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of  Biosciences and Bioengineering of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of  1 Year  and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Project Code, Project Title & Funding Agency:

10DBT005 : "Proteomic analysis of human gliomas for biomarker discovery." (DEPTT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY)
Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m.
Qualification M.Sc. Medical Sciences, Microbiology, Immunology or MBBS. Previous experience of handling clinical samples such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and serum will be an asset.
Job Profile Collecting glioma clinical samples such as serum, tissue, CSF from ACTREC and Tata Memorial Hospital and bring it to IIT for proteomics analysis. Sample processing, storage and tracking in database.
