DBT funded research project entitled, "Creating a Genomics Platform- for Apple Research in India".

1. Senior Research Fellow (one): 

The candidates must hold M. Sc degree in Biotechnology securing at least 55%marks. Experience of at least two years and/or published work in the area of Plant Biotechnology is essential.

Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/- + HRApm.

2.Junior Research Fellow (one):

The candidates must hold M. Sc degree in Biotechnology securing at least 55% marks. Candidates having experience of working in the area of Plant Biotechnology or having NET qualification will be preferred.

Fellowship: Rs.12,000/- + HRA pm.

3.Technical Assistant(one):

Candidates must hold B.Sc or higher degree securing at least55% marks. The candidate must have the experience of working with Instruments and have knowledge of computers. The job requires extensive field work in apple growing areas of J &K.

Salary: Rs.7000/- pm.

The interviews will be held on 9th Sept, 2010 at 11 am in the office chamber of the Director, School of Biotechnology, Universityof Jammu, Jammu.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
