Positions of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Research Associate (RA) are available in the following project.

| P(07-1) | Bio-fuel and Carbon removal with Cyanobacteria : Role of Genetic Networks. RA: (1 Post) Eligibility : (i) Ph.D in Life Sciences from reputed university with good publication record. (ii) Experience in molecular biology. (iii) Experience with microarray gene expression. (iv) Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with cyanobacteria would be an added advantage. Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.24000/- p.m. + HRA Job Profile : Overall goal is to understand the genetic regulatory networks of cyanobacteria. Specifically, (i) collection and analysis of microarray gene expression data (ii) co-ordination with Australian collaborators (iii) preparation of scientific reports. SRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : M.Sc in Biochemistry with 2 years of research experience and publication record with Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in molecular biology and gene expression desirable. Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m. + HRA Job Profile : Microarray chip design, experiment design, conducting and analyzing microarray experiments, preparation of reports. |
The positions are temporary initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
