Applications are invited on a plain paper from the qualified candidates for the following temporary research position.
Funding agency : Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi.
Project title : Investigation on the biochemistry and biochemical interactions of red fluorescent protein in Bombyx mori with nucleopolyhedrovirus.
Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (one)/Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (one).
Duration : Three years.
Qualification : For SRF M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Science with minimum of two years of research experience in protein biochemistry and molecular biology with research publications.
If no suitable candidates are found for SRF position, the candidate with M.Sc. (55% marks) must be CSIR-UGC NET JRF/Lectureship may be considered for JRF (Junior Research Fellow) position with lower emoluments.
Emoluments* : Rs 14,000 + HRA for SRF, Rs 12,000 + HRA for JRF
*If no suitable candidates are found for SRF/JRF position, M.Sc. with first class will be considered for Project Assistant position with lower emoluments (subject to changes by DST).
