A workshop on the advanced techniques in genomics will be held from 8–12 February 2011 by MDRF in collaboration with University of Minnesota, USA. This workshop is aimed at training and capacity building of researchers in advanced techniques in genomics of type 2 diabetes such as Direct sequencing, Real Time PCR, MassARRAY and Microarray. The workshop also includes a series of lectures on genomics by eminent scientists. Seats are limited and the participants will be selected by the organizing committee. Curriculum vitae and a one page writeup on the research background and interests, and why this workshop could be helpful for the candidate’s research should be enclosed along with the application form.
