National Level Biological Congress on Promising faces of Biotechnology
on 7th & 8th January 2011
The Departments of Biological Science of Muthayammal College of Arts & Science has been organizing the National Level Biological Congress with an objective to bring together the scientists, faculties, researchers, industrialists and students in and around India and provide a forum for them to share their views and experiences related to their research activities. This is the 10th time, the Centre for Biotechnology has been organizing national level conferences and it is a continuation of this tradition. It will be held on 7th & 8th January 2011 in Muthayammal College of Arts & Science, Rasipuram. The two days national level congress will consist of invited lectures by faculties or scientists from renowned institutions and oral & poster presentation by the faculties, research scholars, corporatists & students of various organizations. The national level congress will cover all areas and aspects of biological science.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Submission of both in-depth research papers and review / application-oriented papers are encouraged. Submission of abstract on CD disc or as an attachment through Email is acceptable in MS-Word format. Abstract of one page (A4 size, Times New Roman, single line space, font size-12) should be sent electronically to the Organizing Secretary, MCAS-BIO 2011 latest by 9th December 2010. The acceptance of the papers will be communicated by 20th December 2010. An abstract not exceeding 250 words should accompany the registration form.
Only selected papers can be presented orally and rest of the papers can be presented as poster. A poster session will be specified, where all participants will have a chance to see the posters. A cash prize will be awarded for the best paper and for the best poster.
The abstract should reach the Organizing Secretary on or before 10th December 2010 through post or email (mcasbio2011@gmail.com).

Industrialists / Technologists - Rs. 1000/-
Faculty from Academia - Rs. 400/-
Students / Research Scholars - Rs. 300/-
Participants are requested to send the registration fee along with the completed registration form to confirm their participation. Registration fee may be sent by DD in favour of "Organizing Secretary, MCAS BIO - 2011" payable at Rasipuram. Registration fee should reach the Organizing Secretary / Convener on or before 10th December 2010.
Accommodation:
Registered outstation participants will be provided suitable accommodation on campus in hostels. Accommodation will be arranged upon request on a first come first served basis.
