Project : Development of Alternaria carthami disease resistant transgenic plants of Safflower through overexpression of chitinase gene disease resistance

Value of the fellowship : Rs. 14,000 + HRA – p.m. (consolidated)

Qualification : M.Sc. Botany / Plant Science / Plant Biotechnology degree with minimum marks of 55% and two years research experience

Preferable : Basic experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation, preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC /CSIR / NET/ GATE / National tests.
