Project Title, details of position and duration	Monitoring of re-introduced gaur in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh. (02 – JRFs) Duration: Two years.
Essential Qualification	Masters degree in Wildlife Science/ Environment Management/Ecology/ Environmental Sciences/Forestry/Zoology with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification	Research experience in radio-telemetry, vegetation quantification and animal census techniques.
Description of Work	The project aims to monitor the re-introduced gaur in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh

1. Selected candidate for the position of Junior Research Fellow will be paid consolidated emoluments of Rs. 12,000/- per month. In case of NET qualified candidates (UGC/CSIR) for Research Fellows, the selected JRF will be paid consolidated emoluments of Rs. 16,000/- per month.
   
2. The selection of the candidate will be based on Walk-in-Interview to be held on Friday, 7^th January 2011 at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun. The registration will begin by 09:30 A.M. onwards.
