Technology Training
Need for technology training - One challenge that the scientific community is facing today is availability of expert manpower to efficiently use the high-end technology available in the country. Keeping this in mind, C-CAMP is providing education/training programs with the aim of generating a pool of experts who can proficiently utilize the high-end scientific technologies and hence, helps in scientific developments.
At present, C-CAMP provides national hands-on training courses in the flow cytometry and Imaging fields. These courses involve international faculty and provides access to high-end instruments for participants. A number of courses in Imaging as well as Flow Cytometry have already been provided in 2009 and 2010.
We offer a 3-tier training model on our technology platforms depending on user requirements: - Perennial Training (regular/on-request) - Basic Training Course (Scheduled basic courses at regular interval throughout the year) - Advanced Training Course (International advanaced course once in a year)
Apart from national and international workshops, regular/perennial or on-demand training programs (usually intensive about one-week courses) are routinely conducted for researchers in our core platform technologies.
C-CAMP is going to have the following 4 perennial hands-on training courses in the field of Flow Cytometry in the year 2011 apart from Basic and Advanced courses (The announcement will be made here):
