The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) is an autonomous body under the Government of Kerala constituted to promote excellence in Science, Technology and Environment in the State through learning research and development with the involvement of academia, industry and Research Organisations.
In order to keep the Council & its R&D Institutions in the forefront of their respective expertise and innovations we are looking for dynamic, result oriented top-notch Scientists with relevant academic/management experience to be appointed as its Director and Principal Scientific Officer.
Grade : Scientist E1 or Scientist E2
Qualifications : (1) M. Sc. or M. Tech. in Biotechnology with 1st Class (2) Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Life Sciences.
Experience : Experience of 5 years for Scientist E1 or 7 years for Scientist EII
Age : Below 45 years as on 01.01.2011.
Pay Band+Grade Pay : P.B. – 15,600-39,100+G.P.7,600 for E1 or 37,400-67,000 +G.P.8,700 for E2 plus perks and allowances as per Council rules.
General : For both the above posts, in the case of exceptionally meritorious candidates, relaxation in all or any of the requirements may apply. Relaxation to the candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, etc. will be allowed as per State Government rules. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to fill or not to fill the above position.
