NATIONAL LEVEL ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR DESIGNING DOCTORAL RESEARCH

Objectives of the program

v  To introduce the philosophy of research to young researchers.

v  To provide the knowledge of various resources to begin a doctoral research.

v  To provide the participants an overview of research methodology, research tools, statistical tools and writing doctoral research proposals and theses.

Who can attend the Program?

v  Part time and full time PhD research scholars.

v  Young research guides.

v  Faculties of Humanities/Social science, Science, Engineering, Medicine and Technology Institutions.

v  Post graduate students of all the above disciplines who are aiming to do doctoral research.

Technical programs

v  Lead lectures by eminent researchers from different disciplines.

v  Introduction of web based resources like  literature collection,  statistical tools, publication avenues etc for doctoral research works

v  Model doctoral research proposals

v  Overview of theses and scientific report writings

Program kit, lunch and light refreshments will be provided. Certificates will be issue to all the participants.

Registration fee : Rs. 100

Last date for Registration : 31-01-2011

Registration fee can be paid as a DD in favor of AMET payable at Chennai. The filled in registration forms should reach the address given below along with DD on or before 31-01-2011. Those who wanted to register through e-mail can contact ametmarinebiotech@gmail.com on or before 31-01-2011. The fee can be paid on the spot by producing the registration form signed by HOD/guide and Rs. 100 in cash. No spot registrations.
