Research Associate (2 positions) – for CEG Project

ICRISAT invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of Research Associate to be based at Patancheru,(Near Hyderabad). Andhra Pradesh, India. This is a nationally recruited staff (NRS) position under CEG project “Center of Excellence for high-throughput allele determination for molecular breeding” (CEG, www.icrisat.org/ceg)- second phase (for 3 years) sponsored by DBT.

Responsibilities:Molecular marker (including SNP, SSR and DArT) analysis, sequence data analysis, genetic mapping, QTL analysis, molecular breeding (including MAS, MABC, MARS), contributing to writing project reports and research articles, and perform other related jobs time to time.

Requirements: PhD in Agricultural or Plant Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Life sciences/ Genetics and Plant Breeding with experience in molecular markers and knowledge indicated in responsibilities
