Indo-US Visiting Professorship Program in Microbiology
The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) in partnership with the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) announces the Indo-US Visiting Professorships in Microbiology. The objective of the program is to broaden collaboration between India and the US in the area of microbiology and allied fields with an aim to build long term partnerships.
Teaching Professorship: To enable microbiologists in India and the United States to visit institutions in the other country to teach an interactive short course on a topic in any of the microbiological discipline.
Research Professorship: To enable microbiologists in India to participate in an interactive short course on a topic in any of the microbiological disciplines, or conduct a research project in partnership with a colleague at a research facility in the US.
Application information:
• Applications must be made jointly by the applicant and the host.
• The Professorships are open to ASM members and non-members alike.
