ICAR funded project (National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture) (PI: Dr.Jasdeep Chatrath Padaria)

1) Research Associate:

Emoluments per month - Rs 24,000/- + HRA in case of Ph.D completed or Rs 23000/- + HRA in case of M.Sc., + 2-3 years research experience.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. with 60% marks in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Genetics/Microbiology/Life sciences /Botany with 2-3 yrs research experience in Molecular Biology Techniques/Tissue culture or Ph.D in any of the above disciplines. Research experience evidence in terms of publications must be mentioned.

Desirable qualification: Working experience in Molecular Biology Techniques preferably gene isolation, cloning, plant tissue culture and genetic transformation.

Age limit: Max. 40 years (5 years relaxation for women/ SC/ST/OBC candidates). The post is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.

2) Senior Research Fellow: Emoluments per month - Rs 16,000/- + HRA

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc., in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Genetics/Microbiology/Life sciences /Botany / Tissue culture.

Desirable qualification: Working experience (one year or more) in Molecular Biology Techniques preferably gene isolation, cloning, plant tissue culture and genetic transformation.

Age limit: Max. 35 years (5 years relaxation for women/ SC/ST/OBC candidates). The post is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.

Interview will be held on February 10th , 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology, IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012. Candidates must bring five copies of bio-data, original certificates along with attested photocopies of original certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid.
