under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India sponsored Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Department of Biotechnology, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
The appointment of RA will be purely temporary up to 31st March 2012 and likely to be continue on subject to approval and sanction of DBT, Gov. New Delhi. The studentship/Traineeship will be purely temporary for a period of 6 months and are terminable at any time without prior notice or without assigning any reason thereof. The persons engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for permanent absorption in the University. 1. Remuneration : Rs. 16,000/ per months + 15% HRA for RA : Rs. 5,000/- per month (consolidated) for studentship/ Traineeship
2. Qualifications :
(a). RA (PhD in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ any Life sciences subject with sufficient experience in computational biology /computer networking)
(b) Studentship (to carry out project work): Students perusing postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology in a reputed institution of the country.
(c). Traineeship: Candidates with a Postgraduate Degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or any discipline of Lifesciences. Preference will be given to fresh postgraduates with experience in Bioinformatics tools handling of Bioinformatics software/ database development in related field.
