DBT-funded research project Evaluation of major porins, ompC and ompR of Aeromonas hydrophila as potential vaccine candidates and identification and characterization of immune genes of Indian major carp, Labeo rohita

Minimum qualification: SRF – M.Sc. with TWO years research experience; JRF - M.Sc.
Desirable: Master’s degree should preferably be in the area of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology.
Please note that for the post of SRF, research project carried out during M.Sc. is not counted as research experience.
*: The post is for SRF. In case a suitable candidate is not found for the post of SRF, the post may be offered as JRF.

NOTE: The appointments are purely temporary. The appointments are made for one year and the performance of the appointee is reviewed annually for renewal of appointment. The project at present is till August 24, 2012 and the appointments made shall be terminated with the termination of the project.
