NFBSRA-sub-project Phenomics of moisture deficit and low temperature stress tolerance in rice (Duration: Till March, 2016; NRCPB). 

Research Associate (One Post)
Fellowship per Month : Rs. 24000 +30% HRA for Ph.D. or Rs. 23000 +30% HRA for M.Sc.


Qualifications : Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology /Genetics / Plant Physiology or any branch of life Sciences with research experience in gene isolation, genetic transformation and characterization of transgenics or M.Sc. in any of the above subjects with at least two years of post M.Sc. research experience in areas mentioned above.

Senior Research Fellow (Two Posts)
Fellowship per Month : Rs. 16000 +30% HRA

Qualifications : M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Genetics/ Bioinformatics/Plant Physiology or any branch of Life Sciences with relevant research experience.
Senior Research Fellow (One Post)
Fellowship per Month : Rs. 16000 +30% HRA

Qualifications : M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/Plant Physiology/ Agronomy/ Horticulture or any branch of Life Sciences desirably having experience in green house maintenance and handling of large pot culture experiments.
1) The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for an initial period of one year, which may be extended on yearly basis after satisfactory performance of the incumbent till\ termination of the scheme. There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of scheme. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the fellowship is coterminus with respective scheme.

2) Age limit: 40 years for RA and Engineers, 35 years for SRF and 30 years for Office Assistant. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST & women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be given.
3) TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
