1. Project Assistant Level-II (02 Positions) - Stipend Rs. 10,000/- (fixed) per month

Essential Qualification: M.Sc (first class) in the area of Life Science/ Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Physics/Bio-Technology/Molecular Biology & Microbiology.

Desirable: Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.

2. Project Assistant Level-II (01 Position) - Stipend Rs. 10,000/- (fixed) per month

Essential Qualification: 1^st Class MCA or 1^st Class B. Tech/B.E. in Computer Science Or 1^st Class M.Sc in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bio-informatics, Pharmacoinformatics, Cheminformatics Life Sciences Or 1^st Class M.Sc (Computer Science).

Desirable: Working knowledge of computers, good programming skills and knowledge of ModernBiology/Bio-informatics. The candidate having degree or diploma in Bio-informatics will be preferred.

3. Project Assistant Level-III (05 Positions) – Stipend Rs. 12,000/- (fixed) per month

Essential Qualification: 1^st Class M.Sc in any area of Life Sciences, Chemistry, Bio-technology, Bio-informatics, Pharmacoinformatics, Cheminformatics yeast molecular biology/genetics/recombinant DNA Technology with minimum of 2 years research experience.

Age limit : For Level –II & Studentship/Trainee - 28 Years as on 03.06.2011

For Level-III - 30 years as on 03.06.2011

(Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/woman will be as per GOI Rules).

The engagement as a Project Assistant in the projects is purely on temporary basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. However, appointment will initially be offered for a period of one year and will be extended on yearly basis till the duration of the project depending on the satisfactory performance of the incumbent. The appointment can be terminated by either side by giving one month’s notice. Total duration of project assistantship in CSIR Laboratories is maximum of 5 years. Therefore, if an incumbent switches between the projects, the appointment will terminate on the day he/she completes 05 years as a Project Assistant. Please note that it is not an IMTECH/CSIR appointment and will not confer any right of the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit or any position. Number of positions may vary.

(Sharp) in the Seminar Hall of this Institute along with complete bio-data duly signed, affixed with latest photograph on it together with photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualification/ experience etc. Original Certificate also to be produced for verification at the time of Interview. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
