DST-PURSE PROGRAMME

Applications are invited from the suitable candidates for the following positions to work in the DST-PURSE (PROMOTION OF UNIVERSITY RESEARCH & SCIENTIFIC EXCELLENCE) programme at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.

S.No POSITION ELIGIBILITY
1. Research Scientists -2 nos (each Rs. 25,000/-pm) Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (1no), Ph.D., in Physical sciences (1no)-Research Experience with published work in SCI journals
2. Maintenance Engineer-1 no
(Rs. 25,000/-pm)		 B.Tech in EEE/ECE experience in maintenance of research equipment
3. Senior Research Fellows- 2 nos
(each Rs.18,000/-pm)		 Biological (1no) and Physical (1no) sciences with minimum two years research experience and published work in SCI journals
4. Junior Research Fellows-5nos
(each Rs.16,000/-pm)		 Biological (3nos) and Physical (2nos) sciences only NET qualified are eligible.
5. Lab Technicians -2nos
(each Rs. 10.000/ - pm)		 Degree with lab experience in Biological (1no) and physical (1no) sciences
6. Lab Assistants/Field Assistants- 2nos (each Rs. 5,500/-pm) Bachelor Degree in Biological (1no) and Physical (1no) sciences with experience in lab/field.
7. Computer programmers/Data entry operators-2 nos
(each Rs. 14,000/-pm)		 M.Sc., Computer Science/MCA with experience in computer programming / data entry etc.,

The above positions are purely temporarily for a period of three years (till 31st March, 2014). This service will not be considered as university service and co-terminus with project period. The emoluments are on the consolidated bases only. If the work is not satisfied any time the candidate will be terminated from the position.
