Project : Search for novel treatments for snake venom poisoning Composition analysis of venoms of snake family elapidae and Viperidae, and complete characterization of their major toxins.
1. Junior Research Fellow
Educational Qualification : Candidate must possess a M. Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ M. Pharm from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate for General Category and 55% for SC/ ST/ OBC and physically challenged candidates.
Desirable qualification : NET/ GATE/ BET/ BINC qualified candidates and / or experience in protein purification, characterization and bioanalytical techniques.
Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/+ 10% HRA p.m. for the first two years (JRF) and Rs. 18,000/+ 10% HRA p.m. for the 3 rd year (SRF) will be applicable to NET/ GATE/ BET/ BINC qualified candidates. : Rs. 12,000/+ 10% HRA p.m. for the first two years and Rs. 14,000/+ 10% HRA p.m. for the 3 rd year (SRF) for other candidates.
Age : Candidate should not be more that 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidate belonging SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ physically challenged candidates.
2. Project Assistant
Educational Qualification : Candidate should be M. Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate for General Category and 5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC and physically challenged candidates.
Desirable qualification : One year experience in any government R & D laboratory, University or Institute with experience in protein purification, characterization and bioanalytical techniques.
Fellowship : Rs. 8,000/p. m. (consolidated)
Age : Candidate should not be more that 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidate belonging SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ physically challenged / experienced candidates.
