SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
ICMR funded project Development of Remote Sensing & GIS based Model to Forecast JE Mosquito vectors abundance and transmission risk
1. Educational Qualification : Post Graduate qualification (1st Division) in any field of Life Sciences preferably in RS/GIS application and with Entomology as one of the subjects at UG or PG degree level from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Experience : 2 years research/teaching experience in vector-borne diseases and/or in the application of RS/GIS field.
3. Job description : Field survey involving Entomological collection, Geo- environmental data generation in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu etc., spatial and temporal data analysis in GIS platform
4. Fellowship amount : Rs.18,000/- p.m. (Consolidated) + HRA Admissible as per ICMR guidelines.
5. Age limit : Below 35 years (as on the date of walk-in-interview) and relaxable for SC/ST and OBC candidates, as per the Govt. of India rules in force.

Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to selection shall be a disqualification and such candidates will not be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
